Kristine Cordts currently serves as Karama’s Executive Director. Through Karama, God gathers his resources of artisans and volunteers, creating handmade masterpieces. When sold, proceeds send kids to Young Life camp in the same impoverished communities where artisans live and work. Prior to joining Karama’s team of world-changing women, Kristine was privileged serve with nonprofit organizations in the areas of healthcare, human services, housing, community development, workforce development, education and literacy. She cherishes her time with Scott, her husband of twenty years, and her three teenage children. I met Karama years ago at a conference and they've partnered in the past with authors such as Lysa Terkeurst and Lynn Cowell. They exist to end poverty. They partner with small business owners in Africa + Haiti to create and purchase beautiful, handmade products. You share dignified work with every purchase, while allowing to create individual, economic, social, and spiritual impact. I want YOU to be in their Swirl of Good and, thanks to their kindness, they've given Do The Thing Movement Podcast listeners twenty percent off their products for the month of January! Check out the Karama Collection website! Our coupon code DOTHETHING is available for 20% off throughout the month of January!
